Here is one stab at a list. It will NOT be competetive, I will have MINIMAL practice games, I have LIMITED models to choose from, some words WILL be capatilized.

I plan on throwing a few different lists up so you guys can pick and choose the best out of those.
If I were to ease up on the troops, should I lean toward fast stuff or kans n' dreads?
Is 4+ armour any good these days. I assume a unit of 'Ard boyz is still a little too pricy for the 4+?

Oh, and here are some modules to discuss. Pick and choose some of these to add/merge/swap with other units already in the list.
Many specific options and loadouts are changable, so things can be modified a bit. So long as I have the appropriet models for them.

I think you can do some good things with these guys.

First, I would adjust to 3 x 7 Lootas, if you can or 7, 7, 6 if you only have the 20 you have listed here.

Second, I would try and fit Koptakazee Attack Pattern Rising Gun in as further fire support, however dont pay the points for the Buzzsaws.

You could drop one of the 20 strong slugga boy squads, and the Nob from the Shoota Boy blob. If you use the shoota boyz to anchor your center, the other 2 30 strong blobs can protect it, keep your KFF in that squad.

Something like this?

6 Loota

30 Slugga, 3 Rokkit, Nob, Klaw
30 Slugga, 3 Rokkit, Nob, Klaw
30 Shoota, 3 Big Shoota (KFF)

Wow, srg, I actually love that list. Ya okay, leave 0ff buzzsaws. Minus 1 pk nob, saves 35 points, but why would it be not neccessary? Because they are just going to be the anchor in the middle?

I think I can do 7,7,7 lootas.
The nobz + warboss *can* work, but they are black reach ones with nothin' but sluggas and choppas. Maybe bioniks, and that one pk nob from the shoota boys. But I'm uncertain of this unit's potential and survivsbility. But they'd be scoring!

Oh ya, and thanks gideus!

I shall continue to ponder this list.

You dont actually look to assault with that shoota blob, just sit there and soak up damage. With 2 Slugga Mobs, with Nobz with PK's, you have a huge screen to prevent assaults against the Shootas.

You could even throw 'eavy armour on the rest of the nobs.

If you have a Trukk, just take that last squad of Sluggas and do something like

Warboss
Nob, Klaw
Sluggas x 10
Trukk

That can be your deep insertion (bwahah) squad that gets into the opponent deployment zone, I wouldnt bother with Nobz with just choppas, too expensive.

That sounds great, there is only one minor snagg. My trukk is second edition. Looks kinda goofy, though it IS assembled and painted(somewhat).

155 points left to put into this list. I can fit a trukk unit, but I feel I need more defense-like units. Right now in this list, what unit will sit on a home objective? I can add a unit of grotz, either 20 at 67, or 30 at 120 or 135. But that leave a handful of unused points and no real punch. The way I see it I can really only get one more unit. Any suggestions?

I have a painted trukk you can use Smile I have not had much success myself with foot Nobz either.

very much like srgs suggestions. helping the MSU of your lootas and koptas will give you more options, and create more difficulty in choice for your opponent.

a Trukk, Stormboyz and Kopta units will provide a good bunch of pressure so your opponent doesn't have time to shoot at the 100+ boyz till turn 3....

So.... you suggest trukk boyz then? And put the warboss in that?

Do you think I have enough defense? If one unit has to hold a home objective, would it be the shoota boyz? But then it is only 60 boyz attacking that can score objectives. (And I guess the trukkers)

4-5 troops will be a requirement for winning a majority of your games, unless you play to annihilate....

Trukk boyz intercept the threat that you want your WB to kill..... could be Ghazskull???

well, not all my stuff is fully painted so I don't reallly care too much about that. I wouldn't want so much of my army to be so borrowed that A: I can't practice with it. and B: It can't say "yes, this is my army." Borrowing a trukk seems just fine though.

Now does KFF go with one of the attacking mobs? And I also hesr deffkoptas will be worth it to outflank. Of course, that is something I shpuld try out for myself.

I would probably keep the KFF in the back, as your warlord just hanging out with the shoota's giving them a 5+ and being annoying.

I should have some chance to play test. Not sure how much though.

If the KFF is in the back, it may be too redundant as they will most likely be in cover or something.

It seems the trukk list will be better, but that boyz unit is small and NEEDS the warboss to bring the PK. It also doesn't have needed upgrades like armour or red paint jorb.
I still think the grotz are needed, but would it be better if I took them out completely to beef up the trukk unit?

I would almost think yes to beefing up the trukk unit? others might have different input, but making it more survivable is where *I* would go with it.
